Reducing the administrative burden by working together

Switzerland has solved the deforestation problem on a private law basis thanks to the Soya Network and committed suppliers. Because the new EU regulation for deforestation-free supply chains (EUDR) also affects European soya producers, the industry fears price increases.

18 April 2024, Noble intentions become a business model
Encouraging current figures and developments were presented at the general meeting of the Soya Network at the border triangle in Basel. Feed soya used in Switzerland is 100% deforestation-free and comes almost entirely from European cultivation.


April 21, 2023, Fodder soy with greatly improved ecological footprint
As current calculations show, the annual GHG emissions resulting from the cultivation and transport of feed soy have been gradually reduced by 85% since the base year 2004 until today. This reduction is another milestone in the commitment of the Soy Network Switzerland.
