Encouraging current figures and developments were presented at the general meeting of the Soya Network at the border triangle in Basel. Feed soya used in Switzerland is 100% deforestation-free and comes almost entirely from European cultivation.
April 21, 2023, Fodder soy with greatly improved ecological footprint
As current calculations show, the annual GHG emissions resulting from the cultivation and transport of feed soy have been gradually reduced by 85% since the base year 2004 until today. This reduction is another milestone in the commitment of the Soy Network Switzerland.

One year after it was founded, the Soy Network is already having an impact, with the first benchmarking of soy standards and increased procurement of certified feed soy from Europe.
March 2017, Switch to responsible soy
Over the past year, Switzerland has imported 271,571 tons of soybean meal for animal feed. Of this amount, 99% was produced in accordance with a responsible standard.

Von Mai 2014 bis April 2015 importierte die Schweiz zu 93 Prozent Futter-Soja aus verantwortungsbewusster Produktion.
Februar 2015, Soja Netzwerk zieht posititve Jahresbilanz
Im Jahr 2014 konnte der Importanteil verantwortungsbewusst produzierter Soja für Futtermittelzwecke von 80 auf 82 Prozent erhöht werden. Von Mai bis Dezember 2014 lag der Anteil gar bei 89 Prozent.
